Introduction

Education a fundamental right for every child.

But also a tool to get out of the clutches of poverty, a weapon against the disease, and those who do not sound a trumpet to him.
For governments and the international community, education, investment shares do not back down. On the contrary, no country can progress without education of his children. Not thrive without the good schools and universities. And will not live as long as the peace Amufa large parts of the human speaking the language of ignorance, discrimination and racism. Language of deaf blind.
I am so proud to be one of the most prominent advocates of the UNICEF child, and Honorary President of the United Nations initiative for the education of girls, I can speak in their name all over the world to demand by appending all the kids at schools, and to secure quality education for them, especially girls.
From South America to South Africa, I felt the change wrought by education in the lives of children, girls and boys. Radical change in the mind, body and spirit. Learn to read and write, the more income to help their families grow up and confident on their own, eager to improve their lives and the lives around them.
Education and the legacy passed from generations, fathers and mothers raising children educated learners.
Teachers, but children too! Nisoa child, that I had ever met in Soweto, near Johannesburg, told me Onhahin back from school, taught people what I learned on that day. Her mother was encouraged to study and joined a night school to learn to read.
I had the privilege of meeting many of the children, such as Nisoa, the children turned their tragedy into a message. I met Devla of India in New York in September of 2008. The presence of personalities Kjrdn Brown, and Bob Geldof, Bono, Devla stolen the limelight from everyone when recounted her story, how she was working in a quarry, and are daily insulted and beaten. After he was rescued from that life, and was sent to the school, insisted on helping all the girls to attend school seats, and Thdtna all have to do it, too, can help in the dissemination of education.
Global Campaign for Education, is seeking to achieve this .. In April 2009, I had the honor honorary president of my nomination for the week to combat global illiteracy and global awareness of the importance of education. With the participation of world-class supporters Knylson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, and Paulo Cuello, contributed to the "Big Book" .. Volume brings together stories from around the world, translated into several languages, has so far mobilized millions around the world to demand education. By June 2009, 13 million people in 120 countries had read the "Big Book".
Now, working with the global campaign to harness the influence of FIFA football for education. As one of the heads of the campaign, I met Gogo, a girl of South Africa represents a small power of education: smart, self-confident, and a spokeswoman for the bug. Along with a number of months for the football players in the world, has launched Goal 1 in August 2009 Wembley Stadium. Gogo, which was not intimidated by dozens of photographers, "she said," Go to school, fun, and I want to be able to work for every child in Africa from going to school too. "
We hope to collect 30 million by the end of the signing of the 2010 World Cup soccer, to demonstrate to world leaders that education is everyone's demand every human being.
The road is long and full of obstacles we have overcome ... I hope that you join us in this journey to a world where every child to achieve his dream of going to school.
