Systems Resource Center of American Studies at Najah National University in cooperation with the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem, hosted a workshop during which the American expert Professor Mark Steven Baker, who works as a writer in Advanced Software Microsoft Corporation. The workshop was organized in the conference hall in the library of the old campus and was attended by Dr. Ayman al-Nazzal, director of the Center for American Studies, and Professor Khalid Barham, Director of the Korean Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence in Information Technology University, in addition to a number of members of the technical staff at the university.
The workshop included three sessions, two of which were held in the old campus, while the third was held in the hall of Korean Palestinian IT Institute of Excellence in Information Technology the new campus. He also spoke about the various processes that have become industry focus of the software, such as updates, and management and that the issue of updates become important topics in these days because of its relationship to the level of security of computers. He said that to do periodic updates to the devices are protected from viruses and malicious programs, as the user keeps in touch with the latest developments in software, hardware and computer accessories.
Also touched on the subject of remote management, which means the user control Abjahazh remotely using another device anywhere in the world. Professor, also spoke on the reform of network problems and analysis in addition to network services, applications and other topics.
The second lecture was held with the participation of Prof. Marwan Haddad, Director of the Institute of Water and Environmental Najah National University, where he talked about the expectations of the use of solar power in Palestine, and areas of scientific research and joint research projects in the field of solar energy in order to solve the problems of water and the environment.
